BELIEVE IT On the company’s
website, Hello founder Craig
Dubitsky invites users to chat
via Skype.
“ H
ello” is Craig
Dubitsky’s favorite
word — so much
so that he used
it to name his
Montclair-based
oral care company. Go to hello-
products.com, the company’s
website, and you’ll find a Spotify
playlist of titles that feature
the greeting — including songs
named “Hello” by Adele, Lionel
Richie and Beyoncé — and smil-
ing photos of the two dozen or so
“friendly staff members,” including
the Dubitsky family dog.
The humans have something
to smile about: Hello toothpaste,
tooth brushes and mouthwash
are currently sold in 42,000 retail
stores, making it the fastest-grow-
ing oral care company in America.
Maybe the good feelings are con-
tagious; Inc. magazine recently
named Hello Products one of the
best places to work in its annual
list.
Dubitsky has a history of
developing new product lines. He
was an early investor and board
member in Method, the clean-
ing products company, and the
chief marketing officer of GMO-
free Popcorn, Indiana, a folksy
brand of packaged popcorn. He
was named to Advertising Age’s
Creativity 50 as one of the Most
Influential and Innovative Creative
Thinkers and Doers. Here are six
things to know about him.
