Slurp. Sip. Repeat. That’s what
diners love to do at Montclair’s
ANI RAMEN, which we included in our
Fall 2014 issue (“Buzzworthy”). On
October 10, though, 28 ramen-lovers
took slurping/sipping/repeating to
new lengths, at the first Ani Ramen

Voltarelli won the first prize Golden

bowls in 15 minutes; it was the real

the evening benefit Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless (MESH).
Correction
In our Fall 2016 List column (“Seven Habits of Highly Effective Fundraisers”), our reporting
about PARTNERS FOR WOMEN AND JUSTICE‘s peer-to-peer fundraising contained some errors.
The non-profit held a series of spin-cycling fundraisers. The three events mentioned did
not attract 5,000, 11,000 and 30,000 sponsors. Instead, the first two fundraisers highlighted
raised $5,000 and $11,000 each. When the group held its most recent spin-cycle fundraiser
using the peer-to-peer sourcing platform CrowdRise, it raised $30,000.
