McCreath relocated the kitchen , which had occupied the spacenow taken by the dining room , to the rear of the home . This larger , more functional kitchen includes cabinetry by Mark McCarthy at Parsons Cabinetry , a custom hood , and coffered ceiling . And it has two long marble countertops : One is in the waterfall style with a sink and plentiful storage area below ; the other has room for eight leather-topped stools from Wayfair that can be tucked beneath its overhang on both sides . The window treatments are from Hunter Douglas .
