CELEBRATE MATISSE: MIDNIGHTINPARIS

The Montclair Art Museum( MAM) celebrated the magic of Matisse at its spring fundraising event, including a festive gala and after-dark soiree. The event was the museum’ s largest fundraiser of the year and was aspecial evening highlighting the glamour of 1920s Paris with dinner and entertainment. Funds from the event will help support the museum’ s exhibitions and awardwinning education programs.

CELEBRATE MATISSE: PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ

The Montclair Art Museum also paid tribute to Matisse with a special luncheon featuring the Matisse-inspired Designer’ s Challenge. The Puttin’ on the Ritz spring luncheon included a private viewing of the special exhibition Matisse and American Art, and an in-depth presentation on the artist and his influence on art in this country. Funds from the event will go to support MAM ' s exhibitions and awardwinning education programs.
