• Wood and metal together( upper left) The table is wood, with lacquered drawers, and its legsare brass-colored iron; that’ sa hammered copper stool underneath.( Left) The coffee table is made of hammered wrapped metal, with a prevailing thumb print impression; the legsare tooled antique brassonnatural iron.
• Mixedgeometric patterns( top right) Various patterns makeasmall spacemore visually interesting, says Belisle. The table top has tiny broken sea shells embedded in it.
• Blue and more blue“ Navy is trending,” she says. The couch matches the navy blue porcelain vase on the table with the iron legs( topleft).
• Grassclothonthe walls. Did we mention thatthis is big now? Belisle shares her theory.“ People who were kids in the’ 70s have grown up, and they’ re bringing thingsback. But the colors are different, and the textures are more refined.”
