• Wood and metal together ( upper left ) The table is wood , with lacquered drawers , and its legsare brass-colored iron ; that ’ sa hammered copper stool underneath . ( Left ) The coffee table is made of hammered wrapped metal , with a prevailing thumb print impression ; the legsare tooled antique brassonnatural iron .
• Mixedgeometric patterns ( top right ) Various patterns makeasmall spacemore visually interesting , says Belisle . The table top has tiny broken sea shells embedded in it .
• Blue and more blue “ Navy is trending ,” she says . The couch matches the navy blue porcelain vase on the table with the iron legs ( topleft ).
• Grassclothonthe walls . Did we mention thatthis is big now ? Belisle shares her theory .“ People who were kids in the ’ 70s have grown up , and they ’ re bringing thingsback . But the colors are different , and the textures are more refined .”
