HAUNTED PLACES AND SPACES
Montclair State University
1 Normal Ave., Montclair
Boo! Check out this local haunt, which for some may be a
little too close to home. Montclair State University has
been called the 6th Most Haunted College in America by
Listverse.com. Word around campus is that the Hawks
Crossings apartments on Clove Road were built on an
old Native American burial ground. Reports of doors
slamming shut, lights flickering and faucets turning on
by themselves on campus fuel the suspicion.

a dip in the towering chocolate fountain.
Games, prizes and a pizza dinner are included.
Get in the “spirit” this
Halloween season with a
wine and beer adventure.
Amanti Vino has classes
for everyone who has an
interest in wine, craft beer
or artisanal spirits. The

for serious wine and beer
enthusiasts with a thirst
for learning about all
things related to beer and
wine. Or you can simply
“sip” into the season by
picking up a bottle of
Eden Rose Cider, Eves
Cidery Autumn Gold or a

Ciderworks Ironbound,
and savor the spirit of fall
in the comfort of your
own home.

Pack up the family, pick up some
lunch and head over to Eagle Rock
Reservation for an afternoon of
outdoor fun. The 408.33-acre forest
reserve and recreational park offers a
variety of trails and footpaths that
crisscross the woodland areas;
making it ideal for taking in the fall
foliage. Bring a camera to capture the
kaleidoscope of fall leaf colors.
Note: The main entrance to the park
is located on Eagle Rock Avenue.
