The Super Doctors research team evaluated 31 different specialties on myriad factors , including ( but not limited to ) peer recognition , professional achievement and disciplinary history . Professionals with the highest scores from each grouping were invited to serve on ablue-ribbon panel that evaluated other candidates . Finally , doctors who acquired the highest total points from the surveys , research and blue-ribbon panel review were selected for inclusion in Montclair Magazine ’ s Top Doctors .
Of course , no list is perfect . Many qualified doctors who are providing excellent care to their patients are not included on this year ’ s list .
