PHILIP ECHO, D.M.D., OF THE CENTER FOR ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL
SURGERY AND IMPLANTOLOGY, HAS TWO GOALS WHEN IT COMES TO TREAT-
ING HIS PATIENTS. First, he strives to provide the utmost quality of care in
oral surgery by utilizing a combination of his expertise and state-of-theart
equipment. Second, he aims to deliver the most personal care to his
patients to put them at ease. He recognizes that people are often apprehensive
at the thought of oral surgery and therefore delivers a comfortable
dental experience, both physically and mentally.
The Center boasts a newly remodeled facility featuring a CS 9600 3D imaging
system. This system has revolutionized diagnostic capabilities as well
as patient treatment. Traditional two-dimensional x-rays can often be misleading,
and the CS 9600 virtually eliminates the ambiguities found in them.
Dr. Echo performs the majority of procedures in-office, which consists of
extracting wisdom and other teeth, and dental implants. Dental implants
allow patients to return to normal eating after tooth loss. In situations
where there is also bone loss present, Dr. Echo performs bone generation
grafting to build a foundation to support the implants.
television and friendly faces, all designed to relax patients and make the

in between. He is an avid, award-winning photographer and his office
is filled with many of his own photographs, giving it the feel of an art gallery
rather than a dental office.
Dr. Echo was educated at St. Peter’s College and the University of Medicine
and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine).
He completed his surgical training at University Hospital in Newark and
has been in private practice since 1993. Dr. Echo is on staff at Clara Maass
Hospital. He offers evening hours and is always available to his post-operative
patients and for emergencies.
Dr. Echo “considers it an honor and aprivilege to deliver care to [his]
patients.” He thanks his current and past patients for the confidence they
place in him and his staff, and for the ability to serve them.
Upon arrival at Dr. Echo’s office, patients are greeted by name by awarm
