Dr. Louis Theodorou
DR. LOUIS THEODOROU IS THRILLED TO BE BACK IN HIS HOMETOWN OF GLEN
RIDGE. A 1992 graduate of Glen Ridge High School, he went on to study at
Rutgers University and received his DMD from the University of Medicine
and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine).
Dr. Theodorou is very committed to continuing education; he strives to
provide the most up to date technology and cutting-edge techniques to his
patients. In 2006, he became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Once a month he meets with a Spear Study Club, a group of 10 dentists, with
whom he can discuss cases and share knowledge and expertise. Patients ben-
efit immeasurably from the consultation amongst dentists.
All of Dr. Theodorou’s diligence and hard work has paid off. He has been
recognized by both his peers and his patients for his skills and superb stan-
dard of care. Dr. Theodorou was named one of America’s Top Dentists by
the Consumer Research Council of America for many years running. For the
past several years, he has been named one of New Jersey’s Top Dentists by
both Healthy Living magazine and Montclair Magazine.

and sculpt gums, making his patients more confident about their smiles.
Despite the cutting-edge technology and long list of available services, Dr.
Theodorou is most proud of and best known for his hometown warmth and
the inviting atmosphere of his office. “I want my patients to feel comfortable,
to feel at home, and to feel like they’ve received excellent care.” He is proud
to offer pediatric dentistry, and his gentle manner has made him popular
with families who appreciate the welcoming staff and relaxed setting. In
order to remain accessible, Dr. Theodorou’s office is open on Saturdays
and three evenings per week. In addition, he offers emergency services and
accepts most insurance providers and plans. Dr. Theodorou is both an excel-
lent dentist and a wonderful neighbor.
Dr. Theodorou practices all areas of general and aesthetic dentistry. His
practice is one of the few in the area to have the revolutionary iTero digital
scanner. The iTero scanner eliminates the need to take messy, uncomfortable
impressions and greatly improves the accuracy of fittings. “It makes for bet-
ter dentistry,” noted Dr. Theodorou.
The general dentistry services include periodontics, endodontics, treatment
of TMJ disorder, and laser cavity detection to name just a few. The aesthetic
dentistry services include Invisalign, Lumineers (porcelain laminate veneers),
