Dr. Peluso, father to a young daughter named Amanda, has an easy-going
manner that puts children at ease. “It’s a privilege to have a positive
impact on their lives,” he explains. Dr. Peluso believes it’s also a privilege
to support local youth sports teams and school events. The practice has
been a fixture in the community for 40 years, with Dr. Peluso on staff for
the past 10. “I strive to have the practice be a part of the fabric of the

The orthodontist is an Invisalign® Premier Provider. He offers a variety of
treatment options including Invisalign® and Invisalign Teen® and metal,
clear, tooth-colored, lingual and self-ligating braces. The office was
renovated a year ago and fitted with state-of-the-art equipment.
Attentive to the smallest details, Dr. Peluso uses a digital impression
system that provides a high level of accuracy and eliminates the
messiness and discomfort often associated with conventional dental
impressions. Using digital X-rays and the latest computer technology are
a given at Peluso Orthodontics. The practice is committed to safety,

Dr. Peluso is a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and he
fabricates and fits custom athletic mouth guards . In addition to servicing
children and teens, his practice attracts an increasing number of adult
patients. “The public has become more aware of the correlation between
better dental and systemic health. It’s been proven that straight teeth are
easier to maintain,” he explains. “Our goal is to achieve a healthy
dentition, proper function and beautiful smiles.”
Experienced in addressing complex interdisciplinary cases, Dr. Peluso and
his staff work closely with the patient's general dentist to ensure optimal
coordinated care.
Dr. Peluso earned his degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Dental School,
and was awarded the prestigious Stanley S. Bergen Jr. Medal of
Excellence. He completed an orthodontic residency program at the
University of Maryland, earning both a specialty certificate in
orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral biology. He is on
staff at the New Jersey Institute for Craniofacial Surgery at St. Barnabas
Medical Center where he treats patients with craniofacial abnormalities.
He also addresses problems pertaining to sleep apnea. The orthodontist
was named one of the state’s top dentists for five consecutive years in
New Jersey Monthly.
