care. For over 20 years, Dr. Paul Dionne has been heading a
practice serving the Montclair and Glen Ridge communities
with an overriding commitment to focus on each patient’s
individual needs and to provide maximum comfort.
Available on a 24-hour/7-day a week basis, Dr. Dionne goes
as far as giving patient’s his private cell phone number.
Spend just a few minutes with Dr. Dionne and his love and
genuine compassion for dentistry are radiated throughout
his every word and emotion. “I allow a lot of time - never
double book - to get to know each one of my patients. Each
patient gets the complete attention of myself and my
assistant, particularly to figure out the cause of any
problems and how to alleviate any future complications,”
explains Dr. Dionne. “The reasons I love what I do are
countless. I am able to combine years of practical experience
to relieve pain, give people their smiles back or witness a
proud child who feels a great sense of accomplishment after
his first visit to the dentist.”
Dr. Dionne specializes in general dentistry and full mouth
rehabilitation. He has both advanced training and
considerable experience in reconstructive and cosmetic
dentistry. And it all began in childhood when he and a
friend started a landscaping business to earn extra money. A
customer was a dentist and showed Dr. Dionne his lab and
models. Something just clicked and he knew this would be
his career path.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Temple
University, Dr. Dionne received his dental degree from the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In
1993, he assumed the practice of a retiring dentist in
Montclair. Today he has created a state-of-the-art practice
and has invested in equipment including technology for
cancer screening and advanced imagery machinery for
before, during and after treatments. During most
procedures, patients can enjoy a movie or relaxation tape on
a flat panel monitor attached to their chair.
As part of his continuing education, Dr. Dionne travels to
Scottsdale, AZ, to participate in a Spear Study Group. He is
also part of a local Spear Study Group where dentists and
specialists gather on a monthly basis to discuss their more
complex cases, enhance clinical skills, and confer with their
colleagues. To further demonstrate his commitment to
providing superior oral care, the practice has a membership
in The Pankey Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated
to the commitment of excellence in dentistry and advanced
dental education.
