Money Matters May- July '19 | Page 11

Student Financial Services (SFS) manages student accounts. The department is responsible for posting charges and payments to student accounts. Tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and meal plan charges can be viewed online through your my.unt.edu account. The university accepts payments in many different forms. Credit card payments and check payments are accepted online through my.unt.edu. Cash, check, and money order payments can be made in person on the first floor of the Eagle Student Services Center.

The university also offers several payment plan options. Remember a $25 late fee is assessed whenever an installment plan payment deadline is missed. Any prior semester balance remaining at the end of the semester will need to be paid in full before the next semester’s payment deadline to avoid being dropped from pre-registered classes.

Trying to figure out how much college will cost? The average cost per semester can be found by using our tuition calculator on our website at sfs.unt.edu/tuition-and-fee-calculators. Additionally, information about tuition and all fees is posted on the SFS website at sfs.unt.edu.

ZERO BALANCE. The SFS and university have the same financial responsibly expectation for all students – $0 balances in their student accounts at the end of every semester. Once your student account balance is $0 – all charges posted to your student account for that semester have been paid in full. Congratulations! Anticipate having problems paying all your charges – schedule a coaching session with the Student Money Management Center.
