CYLE
Cyle joined the SMMC team as the second cadre of interns affiliated with the TD Ameritrade Internship Program. The program is an innovative, collaborative partnership between the center and the FIREL Department. He is completing a post-baccalaureate degree in Finance. His first degree was in Criminal Justice. Under his leadership the internship program continued to help UNT students and promote careers within the field of finance to the greater Denton community. When he graduates, Cyle will be moving to Austin to pursue a career in financial education or advising with the long-term goal of getting into real estate investing. Surprisingly Cyle never demonstrated his dancing moves while employed at the center!

VERNISHA
Vernisha joined the SMMC team as one of our Financial Readiness peer mentors. Never one who has to wait to be asked to help, Vernisha jumped right into her role with zest. She has lent her talents, enthusiasm, and sense of humor to the center’s ever-growing catalog of outreach programs and events. Due to her popularity as a presenter, Vernisha is often asked by name when student organizations and others request presentations. She will be stepping from the graduation ceremony stage into a human resources position with one of the country’s largest providers of technology solutions to the financial world.
While we may miss these incredibly talented team members, the entire SMMC team is very proud of the inspiration they have shared through their service to students. We wish them all the best as they begin to ride off into the sunset to new adventures and challenges!
