8 . CONCLUSION & FUTURE DIRECTION

More business leaders are addressing employability skills and sustainability issues not only to follow their ethical convictions , but also to help their organizations cut costs , gain reputation , and achieve sustained competitive advantage in their markets . It is becoming clear that employers prefer quality business graduates from quality business schools — graduates they know will perform on day one .
In addition , high-profile rankings organizations are incorporating criteria related to sustainability . These include Times Higher Education ’ s Impact Rankings , which map universities ’ performance against the United Nations ’ Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs ) and AACSBaccreditation .
The vision of the School of Business is to be recognised as an innovative , entrepreneurial and culturally diverse Business School focused on developing excellence in research , teaching and learning through a process of creating developmental opportunities for our ( local , regional and global ) stakeholders .
The success of this project demonstrates turning this vision into reality . In particular , such a project has the potential to inspire future business leaders to make genuinely useful contributions to their community or to a field of study , thereby adding value to modern business and society in this decade of action .
With this , it is imperative for universities to tailor existing curriculum to successfully bridge the gap between academia and the workforce , in order to build workforce ready , responsible change makers for the future . It is time for universities to empower students to be responsible changemakers of the future , to further advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals .
The End .
