Jeffrey Briar, director of the Laughter Yoga Institute, leads a local club that meets daily on the sand in Laguna Beach. All sessions, which are held at the north end of Main Beach, start at 8 a.m. except for Saturdays, when they begin at 10 a.m. Laughter yoga consists of simple movements like shaking hands or pretending to do things like juggling or jumping rope, all while intentionally laughing.
