We are delighted to bring to our readers the 5th number of
MONAD magazine on our one-year celebration from the launch-
ing of the magazine in May 2016. At the start of MONAD the
editorial team considered that having a complex cover would
mean distracting from the content inside so we decided to go
with a novel idea that each year we have a color theme. Red was
the first year’s color and with this number we have just entered
the year of orange.
In this anniversary number we continue our series on Science
and Spirituality, Under the Light as well as the Frontier Sciences.
We also encourage you to enjoy the articles on the Holographic
Mind of God, The Sense of Beauty and The Therapy with Vowels.
We have also launched a new series around geniality and the
importance of the state of genius. Geniality brings to the person
whom awakened it in their being, an enormous creative power
as well as a vivid originality in line with the unique personality of
that person. Relating to the manner in which education should

be delivered Plato said “Do not train a child to learn by force or
harshness; but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so
that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar
bent of the genius of each”. It is not by chance that at MONAD we
have started to collaborate with children and we are selecting in
each number to publish their candid views on education. And it
is also not by chance that the two youngsters opinions presented
in this number, have been selected for explaining exactly this
idea stated thousands of years ago by Plato.
As MONAD magazine aims to bring to its readers a new per-
spective of integral knowledge in the fields of science, culture,
literature, history, health, music, architecture, religion, spiritu-
ality, art and philosophy – we are constantly grateful to all our
collaborators and contributors for supporting this. I would also
like to encourage your active participation, as we would like to
hear the heart felt feedback to the articles you read in MONAD
and your thoughts of what lies behind the color choice. We have
an award for best guess.
