Integral Naturopathy and the Evolution of the Soul
Integral Naturopathy and the Evolution of the Soul
Article by Jayson Acs
Evolution of the soul involves great effort and we are seldom aware of the cosmic journey which we are taking , one step at a time , for thousands of reincarnations , in order to learn the laws of the physical universe .
Any kind of limitation either of the awareness or of the experience , will lead in time to energetic tensions which will trigger illnesses . When we come to recognize the specific limitations which have generated that illness , through awareness , or through the solution or dissolution of the conflict , we take one more step towards freedom from the conditioning we have been subjected to , without even knowing .
The so called „ developed ” society has become so alienated from nature that it has turned against its own life . It is bewildering to observe that although much scientific progress has been made in the field of health – too often this is applied mainly against the human race rather than for its benefit . The term Nature , in integral naturopathy defines the extension and expression of pre-existing causal laws in the Spirit or the Divine Self .
Every natural treatment aims in one way or another to reconnect the man to Nature . Hydrotherapy , phytotherapy , massage , mindfulness , all the natural therapies aim to eliminate the obstructions and any distorted perceptions standing between the individual consciousness and the surrounding reality .
Every accentuated limitation in the front of our awareness will generate an illness . If there is a blockage , a trauma or an active conflict this will , in turn , impede us to integrate harmoniously the different spheres of knowledge , principles , with the exception of may be some of the emergency medicine . Still by large this is no longer a practice that is current .
Naturopathy ’ s main goal is to restore these fundamental healthy principles which have emerged at the dawn of humanity but have been lost in recent times of technological progress . Beyond the specific changes defined by modern medical practices and customs , the human biology has remained fundamentally unchanged . Since human biology has remained the same , it makes logical sense that healing methods that are unharmuful , simple and natural to still work . Some of them have transformed but they can still remain valid today .
Every error of our modern society comes at core , from breaking the ancient equilibrium with Nature . Naturopathy aims to define these fundamental points of reference which contemporary society has lost .
Its most important principles are :
1 . The healing power resides in nature . Vis medicatrix naturae or in other words the body has a natural ability to heal itself . The actual healer in Integral Naturopathy is the nature of the Divine Self . Nature is seen as a creation , an extension of the causal patterns already existing in the „ core ” or the Divine Self , Atman . Thus even if they are two ontologically different dimensions , they are actually facets of the same reality viewed from two different perspectives , like the two sides of the same coin . The disconnection from the laws of Nature leads to alienation and to the appearance of illness sooner or later .
The principles of naturopathy have been synthesized in the history of our humanity by the school of Hippocrates which is also acknowledged to be the origin of modern medicine . Even though in some medical school doctors still take the Hippocratic Oath , some are actually working against these
2 . The broken equilibrium , in the society - which is another part of nature - leads to illness .
3 . The pursuit and the treatment of mental and emotional causes of illness rather than of its symptoms .
