MONAD, the Integral Studies
Academy magazine aims to
bring a new perspective of
integral knowledge to its
readers in the fields of
science, literature, history,
health, music, architecture,
religion, spirituality, art, culture
and philosophy. The Integral
Studies Academy was set up
in
2010.
The
Academy
founders, together with an
international
team
of
professors and researchers
have dedicated the last 6
years
to
fundamental
research into the field of
human education. We have
spent this time investigating
antic schools and methods,
effectiveness of organizations,
intelligence
and
modern
human behaviour; we have
examined the assumptions of
modern educational systems,
looking at academic, spiritual
and emerging educational
approaches.
also
embarked
on
an
exciting
experiment
of
continuous transformation,
delving into the emerging
fields that define some of
the most refined differences,
such self-knowledge versus
self-development
and
consciousness education. I
am delighted to introduce
MONAD as the platform for
disseminating some of the
findings and insights of our
researches, as well as our
intentions
into
the
development of Integral
Studies Academy.
It is clear from our research
that
the
contemporary
education
has
not
progressed at same pace
with other developments of
the 20th Century.
Despite the existence of
over 7500 forms of holistic
education
for
primary
schools this is yet to be
replicated at the college
and University levels.
Whilst researching, we have
