God has called us to be fishers of men . Think about when you first accepted the invitation to live for God and the fishers He used to pull you out of the water . What can you learn from them as you fish for family , friends and others ?
It is natural to experience frustration and anger when those we love refuse to experience true freedom in Jesus Christ . But it is ultimately only God that can change a man ’ s heart . In what ways can you relinquish control and learn how to allow God to be God more in the lives of your family and friends ?
Consider God ’ s characteristics as He led you out of darkness . Was He loving , patient and gentle ? Or was He forceful , impatient and resentful ? How can you display those same fruits as you wait for God to lead your family and friends out of darkness ?
