BOARD'S CORNER
Seven members gathered for the board meeting on September 25, 2017 at Truman's. We will now be recapping the meeting in the newsletter each month.
1. Sunday With Santa
When: Sunday, December 10, 2017
Time: TBD
Location: Sarasota Polo Club
Logistic were discussed on how to accommodate our growing membership and trying to keep the event and Santa time as intimate as possible. We decided that to make it easier on the coordinator gifts will be dropped at various board member houses which will correspond with Santa times (lots of time will be saved not having to sort 200+ presents). Look for more information in the coming weeks regarding sign-up, Santa times, gifts etc.
2. Newsletter
The school section will be eliminated next month, it is a lot of work to compile and we feel this information is redundant from what is already gotten from the schools. If you have any suggestions for the newsletter please send to [email protected].
3. Playdates
The playdate coordinator will work to schedule a playdate one weekend day a month to accommodate those that work.
4. The need to increase our transparency and formality of the group (hence publishing what was discussed) as our membership keeps growing. We welcome you to join us at the public board meeting to voice your opinion, share constructive criticism, or just enjoy time away from the kids!
