Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken from

- (4) chicken breasts

- Salt

- Pepper

- (1) large bottle of Salsa Verde

- (1) cup of sour cream

- (3/4) cup of favorite cheese finely shredded (Parmesan Romano works well but you can also use cheddar, jack, etc.)

Optional: tortillas, pasta, or rice

Place chicken in slow cooker. Add salt and pepper. Cover with Salsa Verde and water or broth. Cook on high for approximately 4 hrs, depending on how your slow cooker works.

When cooked, shred the chicken, right in the slow cooker. Add sour cream and cheese to taste, mix it up and serve.

Can be served in tortillas or over rice or pasta.
