Beef and Broccoli

I love to cook, I cook almost every night and we've got allergies to gluten, soy, corn and a plethora of fruits in my family so we stick to a lot meat and vegetables. I missed Asian food for so long until my first Whole30 when I was introduced to the magic of coconut aminos, it's a soy sauce like sauce made from coconut sap. It is amazing and this recipe (originally found on Instagram by iheartumami) makes the absolute best beef and broccoli I've ever had and it's ready pretty quickly.

Ingredients:

1 lb of beef-I like using flank or churrasco steak

2 heads of broccoli steamed & blanched

2 cloves of garlic

2 tbsp of grated ginger

Sesame Oil

Fish Sauce

Coconut Aminos

Arrowroot Powder

Baking Soda

Directions:

Marinate beef for 20 minutes in:

2 Tblsp Coconut Aminos

1/2 tsp salt

1 TBLSP Sesame Oil

1/4 tsp ground pepper

1 tsp arrowroot powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

For the sauce:

2 TBLSP Coconut Aminos

1 TBLSP Fish Sauce

2 TSP Sesame Oil

1/4 TSP Pepper

Cook marinated beef on medium high in a large pan, when it gets crispy on the bottom flip it and let it do the same on the other side, add the sauce and the broccoli, let it cook for another minute!
