Happy Summertime mamas!!!
I hope you have all managed to stay safe and healthy over these last few months in quarantine. Since we have not been able to hold our normal monthly events, we are extending the end of our “Board Year” from June 30th until September 30th. How and when we go about resuming events is yet to be determined. We will keep you all posted!!
Thankfully, we are still able to hold Book Club on the 3rd Wednesday of every month via Zoom!! If you are interested in joining please request to be added to LWR Moms Group Page Turners on Facebook. All of the books we read each month are posted there, along with the Zoom Meeting ID that you will need to attend.
Since Book Club has been successful via Zoom, would anyone be interested in Game Nights or Happy Hours via Zoom as well?? We can set up a trial run of each to see how they go!!
Finally, if you would like to become a member of our Board beginning October 1st, please let me know:-) Once we figure out the Board Members who are remaining in their positions, we will know which positions will be up for grabs.... There are positions on the Executive Board which will need to be filled (think President, Vice President, Treasurer) so if any of you would be interested in taking on one of those roles in the future, becoming a member of the Board sooner rather than later would be ideal. Remember, this group can only exist with volunteers!!! Hopefully we can get back to some semblance of normalcy soon.
