2018 Vision Board

Happy New Year! What better way to bring on 2018 than with a vision board! Vision boards are a fun and visual way to express your dreams and goals. Vision boards help clarify and focus on what you want to be, do, or have in your life.

For kids, this is a great way to teach them about goal setting. You can also have them create a board based on what they are thankful for (Gratitude Board) or a board that describes them (All About Me Board).

Items you'll need:

- Poster board (or even just a piece of paper)

- Glue (Yes!Glue or Cement Glue works best)

- Scissors

- Old magazines, catalogs or books.

for Moms and Kids

1. Go through the magazines and cut out words/phrases and pictures of things you like. Don't selective yet. Just have fun and this is a great way to start talking to your child about what they like, are thankful for and/or their goals.

2. Take a few minutes to think about how you want to lay out your board and what you would like to focus on. You can divide into categories like job, family, faith, health, etc.

3. Glue everything on the board. Add a picture of yourself in the middle. Also use markers, stickers, glitter, etc to make it yours! Or just keep it simple.

4. Hang your vision boards in a place where you can see them daily.
