We have lots of fun events planned for you this month!!!
Join us on February 12th at 7PM at The Clubhouse at Arbor Grande for our First Annual Galentine’s Day Party!! Make sure to wear your cutest PAJAMAS (think anything red, pink, or Valentine's themed)!!! Julie Deffense, an international luxury baking artist, will create all of the food. Yes, she is a baker. Yes, that means all of the food will be dessert:-) Menu includes: Raspberry Champagne Mini-Cupcakes, Shortbread Hearts, DREAM BARS, Mini Cherry Cheesecakes, Milk Chocolate Espresso Truffles, White Chocolate Bailey's Truffles, Raspberry White Chocolate Truffles, Chocolate Chip and Pecan Meringues, and Strawberry Mousse Cups!!! For those of you who would rather read, pickup (or download) a copy of “The House We Grew Up In” by Lisa Jewell and join us at Book Club on February 19th at 7PM for what’s sure to be a night full of laughs:-)
As many of you have heard, little Lauren Glynn’s leukemia has returned. Her bone marrow tested positive for leukemia about 5 weeks ago. In March she will have been fighting this beast for 4 years with no more than a 10-week break from some kind of chemotherapy.
Lauren has been accepted into a CAR-T trial at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Shawna and Dave will be traveling back and forth to Philadelphia with Lauren during the duration of the trial. First and foremost I am asking each and every one of you to please pray for Lauren and the entire Glynn family. A GoFundMe has been set up on behalf of the Glynn family by fellow Pediatric Cancer Survivor Mamas to try and help alleviate some of the financial strain.
