TOWER GARDEN

FROM TOWER TO TABLE: GROW YOUR OWN FOOD. GROW A HEALTHIER YOU.

By Linda Tobiassen & Rebecca Gurski

What is a Tower Garden? It’s a state of the art vertical aeroponic growing system. It’s perfect for lanais, patios, rooftops, and balconies. It grows vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers WITHOUT soil!

Is it easy? With Tower Garden, there’s no weeding, tilling, kneeling, or getting dirty. Its compact design fits anywhere. Each 5-foot tall Tower Garden holds 20 plants. It waters itself and begins to harvest in 3-4 weeks.

Do you need to use pesticides? No! Aeroponic systems use water, liquid nutrients and a soilless growing medium to quickly and efficiently grow more colorful, tastier, better smelling and incredibly nutritious produce.

Do kids love it? Yes! Kids pick their own fruits and vegetables from the tower and use it for lunch or dinner. When children are involved in the growing process, they are more inclined to try new foods. Grow plants and grow minds!

What can you grow on the Tower Garden? Basil, chard, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, lettuce, peppers, squash, strawberries, tomatoes, and much more!

Did we mention that Tower Gardens are popping up in classrooms? Yes! Seton Hall University has created a curriculum for school science programs. It engages the class and improves student performance.

Where else have I seen the Tower Garden? It originated in Epcot! It can also be found in Chicago O’Hare Airport, San Francisco Giants Stadium, New York City restaurants & rooftops and many more places.
