Hello ladies
I can’t believe it’s February! This year has been quite a whirlwind. While some of our biggest and most badass events are behind us, we still have some awesome events coming up on top of our regularly scheduled goodies.
First is our Easter Egg hunt, which will be a free event for members and their kiddos! We heard your suggestions after last year’s first go at this crazy kid corral, and this year we will start the hunt promptly at the beginning of the event and then the kiddos can enjoy some fun and games afterward. And don’t worry – we won’t load your kids up on sugar! They will trade in the empty eggs (to be reused next year) and will receive an awesome goodie bag for participating in the hunt.
Shortly after that we will have
our third annual Mother’s Day
brunch, which personally is
one of my favorite events of
the year! No details to share on
this one yet, but stay tuned!
Also – I want to plant the seed
in your brains that in the next
couple of months we will begin
looking for volunteers to fill
the open spots on next year’s
board. We have grown
significantly in the last two
years so my focus for these
last few months is to figure out
how to lighten the load for
each board member. That being
said, so many of you have told
us how much you value this
group and we need you to help
keep the wheels spinning!
