Making Waves Cover Story
An ocean wave energy generator was tested
as part of a Dept. of Energy project by Profes-
sor Lei Zuo. The device will be scaled up for
open-water testing later this year. Doctoral student Christine Beauchene is using
sound as part of a study attempting to increase
the working memory capacity in people. She
hopes the method can be used to help those
with mild cognitive impairment.
