The work ’ s first author is Zhou Ye , a student of Behkam ’ s who defended his PhD on Feb . 20 . The work is published in the Journal of Power Sources .

The Office of Undergraduresearch fund specifically for graduate students called the Graduate Research Development Program . The GRDP provides up to $ 750 for masters students and $ 1,000 for doctoral students which may be spent on research equipment , lab usage , travel related to conducting research and more . The application window is from March 14-21 and an application guide can be found on the GRDP website . To be eligible , you must be a full time graduate student at Virginia Tech .
