HOLIDAY IN THE PARK
Holiday in the Park is back and known as the biggest event in our Community all year . It was created by League City volunteers for all League City families & friends to enjoy . It ’ s a huge Social event inviting everyone from all over the City of Oaks to plan to come together down in our historic district ! At League Park .
Santas ’ crew has planned activities to delight all those looking to enjoy 3 days of holiday fun outdoors . Plans have been underway for months creating the 24th much loved holiday in the park event . Always the first weekend in December .
We host a 3 day , huge festival in the park which includes vendors selling their homemade gifts , toys , clothing & more ( over 100 booths in 2019 ).
Vendors start calling in June to reserve space . The vendor set ups are chaired this year by Melaine Sweeney .
Libby Johnson is heading up our Entertainment area on the plaza and it kicks off Friday night at 7 pm with a holiday movie ! Kids love cuddling up under the Oaks to enjoy some classic movies ! Free popcorn is a treat too !!
Never know whose going to make an appearance ! Saturday and Sunday There ’ s Lots of participation from area school orchestras , dance groups , singers , handbells and more . There ’ s plenty of seating provided so don ’ t miss out on the entertainment .
