WHAT IS GROWING IN THE
GARDEN? Gardenkids of Kemah
Gardenkids of Kemah, Inc. is a 501c3 non
profit organization. We help families
reconnect that their food comes from the
soil and not the grocery store.
At Gardenkids of Kemah anyone can
live the seed to table experience without buying a farm
of their own. Our Youth Gardeners are called “Growers”.
Growers grow food and grow in a love and respect for
the environment. The basis to everything that happens
at Gardenkids of Kemah is our mission - Protect, Plant
and Play: Protect the environment, Plant good food and
Play & have Fun.
Our events and programs are STEAM (science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics, together
with art.) based and teach Service Learning. Through
four annual events and six on-going programs, anyone
can enjoy an urban farm experience locally.
