GALVESTON COUNTY FOOD BANK
THE HAUNTED WAREHOUSE
It is haunting to know the truth about hunger .
The truth is over 53,000 Galveston County residents face food insecurities . That is 1 in 6 who need our assistance . Hunger affects children , seniors , persons with disabilities and even working adults . We invite you now to help raise awareness on the hunger issue , inspire action and drive resources to our organization .
GCFB will host the 3rd Annual “ Haunted Warehouse ”, a unique fundraising experience for the Galveston County community . Once again , we will be converting the heart and soul of our operations into an event that will forever change lives . Hosting this event at the food bank helps keep overhead cost at a minimum , ensuring that more contributions received from individuals and sponsors will go directly to our mission to end hunger .
A recap of the Spooktacular events - We are having an Adult only ( 21 +) Networking / costume party ( ticket purchase required ) on Friday night , October 29th in the Haunted Warehouse with music , dancing , food and spirits . Lastly and the most TERROR-IFIC part is the Haunted Warehouse , which is a haunted house experience in our 14,000 sq ft warehouse ( ticket purchase required ) Saturday , 5- 10 pm .
