LEADERSHIP LEAGUE CITY – WE ARE ONLY GETTING STARTED !
Strength , courage , resiliency , and intentionality are only of few words to describe the 2021 League City Regional Chamber of Chamber Leadership class . On Wednesday , September 1 , 2021 , family members , friends , and coworkers came out to celebrate and shine light upon Leadership League City ’ s graduating class .
Despite a year filled with the uncertainty brought on by the pandemic , lockdown , masking up , and life-changing turmoil , the members of Leadership League City , stood tall with confidence , dedication , and commitment to serving their community .
With much gratitude , the Leadership League City class would like to thank our community leaders for their support throughout the ninemonth leadership program ; Mayor Pat Hallisey and his wife , Janice Hallisey . County Judge Mark Henry , Commissioner Precinct 1 , Darrell Apffel . Galveston County District Attorney , Jack Roady , Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset , Senator Larry Taylor , and all those who shared their time with the leadership class of 2021 .
The 2021 graduating class by the numbers :
• Ninety-five percent of members graduated
• Several class members were promoted by their employers or accepted new jobs in leadership positions
• On-site visit to the Port of Galveston
• Visited College of the Mainland new STEAM building
