MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT / CEO
Dear Chamber family ,
As the fall season begins , there is much on my mind , all of which mostly boils down to two things : motion and initiative .
As you know , your League City Regional Chamber of Commerce is moving to a new location this month and we are quite excited . But like most moves your chamber makes , this is not just news for us , but for you .
Multiple chairs remain for great businesses like yours to sponsor . This is a chance to further cement your business and legacy in both our chamber ’ s history and the community ’ s . I highly encourage you to consider sponsoring .
Then there is initiative , which can best be summed up in three words : response , recovery and resilience .
This fall sees the launch of our Response Recovery Resilience Initiative , an initiative with the goal of aiding and uplifting our amazing community about the dark cloud of the COVID-19 pandemic . I see the pandemic in three extensive and overlying phases : Response , Recovery , and Resilience .
Resiliency is everything during these times .
The core elements of this resilience include helping nonprofits and small to medium-sized businesses prepare for the next pandemic and environmental disaster .
I wish these last three months of 2020 to be many things , but I feel that as long as we live up to the three words of our initiative , we will ensure there is nothing our community cannot overcome , as we are always stronger together .
