MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT / CEO
Dear Chamber Family ,
The holiday season is here . Now is the time for joy , laughter and fun as our community gets into the holiday spirit your chamber loves so much . The holiday spirit is really one that encompasses our chamber ’ s motto : that we are Stronger Together .
Of course , the holiday season would not be what it is without the holiday shopping . With this in mind , I want to encourage our community to begin their shopping early this semester .
We all know the yearly struggle of starting our shopping at the last minute and as a result , we are often forced to compromise in what we get our loved ones . Let ’ s make this the year we shop early and support our local businesses to ensure we are not victims of procrastination . This is especially vital this year due to the labor and shipping shortages and delays going on at this moment . It is imperative to shop early so that we do not become affected by these issues . So let ’ s shop early , shop local and shop chamber .
With November being here , the time of giving thanks , I want to express just how thankful I am for this past year of your League City Regional Chamber of Commerce . This year has seen the Chamber reach levels never before seen , as we have grown in membership and had events we have never had before such as our successful Chili Cook Off and upcoming Yachting With the Mayors , all of this ensuring we continue to be the fastest growing chamber in Galveston County and our region as a whole . None of this could have happened without the efforts of you , our fellow citizens , community members and chamber family . Your chamber exists for you and the prosperity of our region so we truly are in debt to you for your support and involvement with your League City Regional Chamber of Commerce .
Thank you all again for your continued support of your Regional Chamber . Let ’ s shop early and I want to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday season as we embody the holiday spirit and show what it means to be Stronger Together .
