With there being only two months left of the year , the holiday season is upon us and I am excited for a time of the year that is full of great celebration , food and family time . But , this is also a very critical time for small businesses .
When the year started , your chamber declared 2020 to be the Year of Small Business . Therefore , your chamber is advocating that you support our fantastic local businesses these last two months of the year .
You may wonder why the phrase “ Stronger Together ” is so popular with us . It has become our motto for a reason . Communities - strong communities to be exact - are made by the strength of its unified citizens . It is through our desire to work together as a single unit , that business and economic success happens .
The holiday season can truly make or break a business . It is during this time of the year that many businesses have their best revenue , as our wonderful community shops for the gifts for the holidays .
We want to promote shopping local and supporting the small businesses in our community because without small and local businesses there is no community !
League City is growing and expanding every day . This growth could not have happened without all the amazing local businesses that have made League City their home .
