grand opening of Pure Suds Co.’s new
location in Clarks Summit. The Chamber held its annual Member
Appreciation Day, welcoming more
than 250 members who sampled food
donated by more than 30 Chamber
member restaurants.
The Chamber helped celebrate the
grand opening of Making Music
Matter for Kids in the Marketplace at
Steamtown. Leadership Lackawanna received a
$1,000 grant from the PPL Foundation.
These funds will be used in support of
various programming efforts and to
help offset operational expenses. The Chamber helped Keystone
Community Resources celebrate the
grand opening of its newest Adult Day
Program on Genet Street in Scranton.
The Chamber hosted the reboot of its
Women’s Network, featuring Louise
Keller and sponsored by Fidelity Bank. The Chamber recently welcomed Dr.
Candis Finan of the Scranton School
District for a presentation to its Board of
Directors on the district’s recovery plan. Members of the Empower Northeast PA
Women’s Leadership Conference planning
committee recently met in preparation
for next year’s conference, which will take
place on Friday, April 17, 2020.
