Let’s Talk
Local apparel business seeks to
serve the community
Ronald Augelli is on a mission to help
improve the Scranton area through his
apparel business, We Talk Shirty.
Originally from South Scranton, Mr.
Augelli established We Talk
Shirty from the ground up.
What started as a small
business with a handful of
clients is now a full-fledged
printing company involved
with about 40 school
districts.
“I am unbelievably lucky to
have a growing business in
this area,” Mr. Augelli said.
“Aside from becoming the
brick and mortar store that
I’ve always dreamed of, We
Talk Shirty has grown to be
a large online competitor
as well.”
offers the greatest reward of all,” Mr.
Augelli said. “The most fulfilling aspect
of my business stems from my ability to
put a smile on students’ faces.”
“When you
first start off,
you are just
a small fish in
a big pond;
everyone at
The Chamber
is there to
support you.”
The home-grown business owner
is driven with passion to create not
only a better environment for his son,
Lorenzo, but also the community as
a whole. We Talk Shirty assists local
businesses, schools and organizations
with fundraisers and school uniforms.
“Having the opportunity to make
children feel like they are a part of
something bigger through my service
In addition to
We Talk Shirty’s
successes, Mr.
Augelli entered
the sports uniform
game after being
presented the
chance to work with
and sell for Adidas.
Within two years,
Mr. Augelli has
effectively retailed
Adidas sports
uniforms to five area
schools.
“Working with
Adidas allows me to
offer the best price
as an added incentive for schools,” Mr.
Augelli said. “Along with ensuring that
the uniforms look good and perform
well, Adidas also quickly replaces any
product if there is an issue.”
Mr. Augelli stresses the Scranton area’s
potential to change for the better with
the help of local businesses. With the
goal of helping the community, Mr.
Augelli emphasizes the importance
of his relationship with each client
and takes pride in We Talk Shirty’s
customer service.
“Our customer service is essential to
our business and we always ensure
that our clients feel like they are a
part of our team,” Mr. Augelli said.
“As far as additional resources go, The
Chamber is a great thing for a business
to be a part of.”
“When you first start off, you are just
a small fish in a big pond; everyone at
The Chamber is there to support you,”
Mr. Augelli continued. “We Talk Shirty
has opened up so many new doors for
me that I could have never imagined
and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
