CHAMBER NEWS The Chamber helped celebrate the grand opening of Blushing Bridal Boutique in downtown Scranton. Skills in Scranton recently hosted a meeting of community partners from education, workforce and economic development. Skills in Scranton looks to partner with the NEPA Manufacturing Partnership to develop collaborations between manufacturers and regional education and workforce development partners. The Chamber hosted a Meet Up for Lunch at Outreach Center for Community Resources. Skills in Scranton recently hosted its Virtual Business Program at Mid Valley High School. This program allows students to develop entrepreneurial skills in the fields of business, communication and technology by connecting students with business mentors. The Chamber helped celebrate the grand opening of the Wandering Hen Café and Marketplace in downtown Scranton. SLIBCO (Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company) recently named its Board of Directors for 2018-19.
