The company recently launched the new branding along with a new website in order to reach clients and their caregivers more effectively. PERSONNEL The Wright Center for Community Health recently hosted its third annual Caring Hearts Panel Discussion and Dinner. The event, which aimed to build a strong community network for patients and families, as well as generate an informative and educational conversation, was chaired by Clemens Schirmer, MD, Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Chamber member Michele Tripus Orrson of Pathways to Inner Healing recently released her fi rst book, Beyond the Pink Ribbon: What I Wish I Knew About Breast Cancer (Before I Got It). This book tells the story of Orrson’s personal journey with Stage III Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Articulated through her own experience, the book features information she wishes she had known before her diagnosis, including translating medical jargon, understanding her treatment options, evaluating the risks that led to the disease, and regaining her lost health. Melinda C. Ghilardi, Esq., has joined Munley Law. Attorney Ghilardi worked as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for 33 years and served as First Assistant Federal Public Defender from 1988-2017. Prior to joining the federal defender’s staff in 1986, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Lackawanna County. She is a graduate of the University of Scranton and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. 8 • The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce Carmen Winters has joined Lewith and Freeman Real Estate. He has more than six years of experience in real estate, representing both residential and commercial buyers and sellers in the Scranton, Wilkes- Barre, and Hazleton areas.
