WHAT IS IT?
Leadership Lackawanna’s newest
program, Welcome Scranton!, is a 2
½ day program is designed to give
participants a quick, but thorough,
understanding of Scranton and
Lackawanna County, along with a
revitalized sense of putting leadership
into action. Welcome Scranton! is open
to everyone, from newcomers to area
natives, from entry-level employees to
executives.
• This program is a unique way to train
employees, as well as recognize and
reward top talent.
• Welcome Scranton! allows for a
personal, hands-on way to introduce
new (or seasoned) employees to all that
Scranton and Lackawanna County have
to offer.

Each Welcome Scranton! Class is
comprised of a diverse group of
business leaders including executives,
young professionals, managers, entry-
level professionals, business owners,
nonprofi t directors and senior business
offi cials.
New residents of the region should also
apply; however, lifelong residents can
also benefi t from this program!

Welcome Scranton! tuition is $600. A
limited amount of partial scholarships are
available based on need.
