Don’t panic — I haven’t lost my marbles, and I’m
not rushing ahead to January; I’m talking about our
Chamber program year.
Promote your business with the most
comprehensive guide to business in the region!
Our meetings, events, training sessions, etc. begin
all over again when we turn the calendar to July 1.
Although summer is not as busy as the rest of the
year, there’s still a lot going on here at the Chamber.
For example, our newest program, Welcome
Scranton!, debuts in July. Offered through
Leadership Lackawanna, it’s a two-and-one-half-
day insider’s look at our community. It is open to
everyone, from newcomers to area natives, from
entry-level employees to executives. Participants
will explore our area’s hidden gems, broaden
their personal and professional connections, hear
inspirational stories, and learn about service and
leadership opportunities. For more information,
or to apply for Welcome Scranton!, go to www.
leadershiplackawanna.com.
Thank you to all our volunteer boards and leadership
for their efforts during the 2018-19 program year –
here’s to a great year ahead!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank chair Robbie Risley and
the members of the Leadership Lackawanna Board
of Directors for all their hard work during the past
year. The board went through a strategic planning
process this year, and you’ll be seeing the results
during the coming months.
