I was inspired when I realized I wanted to do more than just
collect a paycheck. I want to leave a legacy and positively
impact people’s lives by giving foreign exchange students
the opportunity to study in the United States.

have willingly opened their homes to host a student for 10
months.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE
CHAMBER?
I decided to join the Chamber to share my passion for
my chosen career with other members. I felt that joining
the Chamber was the best way to meet more residents of
Lackawanna County, which will help me to continue placing
students with host families in Lackawanna County and
surrounding areas.
