Ruel Foundation
Express Employment Professionals
recently donated $10,000 to the Ruel
Foundation. The Ruel Foundation funds
surgeries for children with physical defor-
mities that have a significant impact on
their health and/or social development
and who do not have access to free health
care. This donation will help the Founda-
tion establish an additional orphanage in
the Philippines.
Hospice of the Sacred Heart
Receives Grant
Hospice of the Sacred Heart recently
announced that it was awarded a
$20,000 Community Impact Grant from
New York Life. The grant will support
Camp Healing Hearts 2020, a five-day
camp experience that provides grief
education to children ages 8-14 who
have experienced the death of a loved
one. The Community Impact Grant
program awards grants up to $25,000 to
local non-profit organizations.
FNCB Bank Employees
Dress Down for Local
Veterans
FNCB Bank recently presented a check
to the Voluntary Service Office at the
Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center raised
through a bank wide “Jeans for a Cause”
dress down day. This monthly fundrais-
ing effort encourages employees to
make small donations in exchange for
the opportunity to wear jeans to work.
All employee donations are matched
dollar for dollar by the bank.
