“Mighty Oak” Award
HNB Celebrates Grand Opening in Hallstead
The Honesdale National Bank (HNB) recently hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the
opening of its Hallstead Office. This location expands HNB’s branch office network to 12
full-service locations and marks the Bank’s second office in Susquehanna County.
Highmark Foundation Awards Grant to Leahy Clinic
The Highmark Foundation recently awarded a grant of $100,000 to The University of
Scranton’s Edward R. Leahy Jr. Center Clinic for the Uninsured to support its efforts
in chronic disease management among a vulnerable population. This grant will en-
hance the role of the nurse navigator to provide added care coordination, interven-
tion, education, and healthy life style support to Leahy Clinic patients.

several luxury power lift recliners to The
Arc of Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA) for
the enjoyment of consumers participating
in their day programs.
Keystone College Receives State Grant for
Early Childhood Education Survey
Keystone College has received a state grant to collaborate with Shippensburg
University to survey early childhood education teachers about the ways they
most effectively learn the skills they need to perform their jobs. The grant is
part of a $1.5 million investment by the Wolf Administration to improve the
quality of early childhood education with grants to 10 colleges and universities
across the Commonwealth. Keystone is the only college or university in north-
eastern Pennsylvania to receive one of the early childhood education grants.
