MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT / CEO
Dear Chamber family ,
The beginning of June means a great many things : the arrival of summer , a time for growth and fun , and a testament to how far your chamber has come since last year around this time .
Despite our community very much returning to the kind of normalcy we were used to before COVID-19 , many of our businesses are still working to get back on their feet . These include our many wonderful local restaurants . Out of our many efforts to ensure this , has arisen our new Dining Dutch With Dewan series , in which we encourage those in our chamber family and community to come dine at one of our communities phenomenal restaurants with your chamber president . It is always a pleasure to be able to spend time with those in my fellow community and chamber while also supporting our phenomenal local businesses . This month I highly encourage more in our community to come to the next Dining Dutch With Dewan at Red River Cantina on June 9 .
Additionally , your chamber will continue to host an array of events that will provide wonderful opportunities for networking , workforce development and so much more . The sun is only just beginning to rise on your chamber and its city and your League City Regional Chamber encourages those in our community to utilize these events and ensure the sun sets on unemployment in our city .
As COVID-19 steadily becomes a thing of the past , we must acknowledge how far we have come through collective effort to do so . This summer will truly be one that transcends the previous summer and we have ourselves to thank for this . Our amazing city would not have come this far without the work of our amazing community , showing we are Stronger Together .
