CHRISTUS Foundation For HealthCare & The Rotary Club of League City Partner Together To Provide FREE Flu Shots By: Amy K. Killgore, ACPS, CTC Prevention Specialist | Prevention Services Clear Creek ISD [email protected] CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare and the Rotary Club of League City have partnered together for the fourth year to provide free flu clinics to families in Clear Creek ISD. On an annual basis, this team administers the flu vaccine for nearly 1,000 people.   The November clinics will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 4 PM at League City Elementary and Monday, November 13, 2017, at 4 PM at Wedgewood Elementary in Friendswood.   CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare provides affordable, compassionate, quality healthcare to the under and uninsured.  Two ways this is accomplished is through CHRISTUS Point of Light Clinic in Dickinson and through the CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinics, which provide flu vaccines, health screenings and immunizations to children and adults.  The mobile clinics travel to various community and senior centers, churches, parishes and wherever the need is great.    The Rotary Club of League City is part of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. Rotarians believe in the motto of Service Above Self and strive daily to do so through local and international service projects. If you are interested in joining Rotary or learning more, contact Amy Killgore at [email protected].   The partnership of CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare and Rotary Club of League City share many of the same core values including improving the health of the communities that they serve.
