The road continues to lead back to leadership development or the lack thereof. According to a recent Fortune survey, only seven percent of CEO’s believe their companies are building effective leaders. Only ten percent of those CEO’s surveyed believed their leadership initiatives are having a clear business impact. Of the 500 CEO’s surveyed, only eleven percent believed their leadership initiatives are having lasting results in desired improvements. Studies point out that a varied approach to leadership and inconsistent value driven training results in less than desired results. However, there are four main qualities of leadership training that the 500 CEO’s agreed lead to proven results.
