October is here and we are gearing up
for the Chamber’s Largest Fundraiser, THE
FALL GOLF CLASSIC!
On Monday, October 28th, we will see
who takes the number 1 spot this year
at our FALL GOLF CLASSIC. If you have
participated in our Golf Tournament, you
know it’s fun, eventful, and sells out each
year. I highly encourage ALL business
owners in Galveston County to participate
by sponsoring, purchasing a foursome,
green host, hole sign, or providing dinner.
You should want your business represented
at our Largest Fundraiser!
On Friday, October 18th, we will have our annual State of
the Education event from 11:30 - 1:00 pm at the League City
Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. Education is the most powerful
weapon you can use to change the world. Come enjoy an
update from our world-changing Superintendents, Dr. Jennifer
Goodman with Odyssey Academy, Dr. Greg Smith with Clear
Creek Independent School District, and Dr. Carla Voelkel
with Dickinson Independent School District. Sponsorship
opportunities are available and tickets are selling fast!
The Chamber offers you valuable events, visibility
opportunities for your company, and educational luncheons/
breakfasts. In November, you will be able to attend The State of
Legislative and Constitutional Amendments’ Election Updates
(November 14) and State of the Healthcare (November 21).
