School to work partnerships are vital to a thriving economy and quality education system. Opportunities once reserved for
college are now open for students as young as 14 years old. Our local school districts offer unmatched coursework for high
school students to earn workforce certifications by the time of graduation in fields such as healthcare, hospitality, automotive,
computer science and much more.
These career programs are only enhanced through business partnerships which is why the League City Regional Chamber of
Commerce is partnering with area school districts to open the doors for meaningful mentorships, internships and partnerships
with our local businesses.
The Clear Creek Independent School District is hosting an informational coffee on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at
Clear Springs High School. This session is intended for local business representatives who would like to learn how they can build
a career-partnership with students and area schools in all fields. Whether you are in the market for internships, want to be a
career mentor to a student, or want to join the many existing business alliances in place, district representatives will be available
to walk you through the process.
